When the Obama Administration announced its economic recovery plan in early January, preparations began to receive and spend those funds in Michigan. The response was overwhelming. More than 16,000 proposals, totaling more than $49 billion, have been submitted to the state of Michigan and list continues to grow. The information in The Blade database is ONLY a list of requests. These projects have NOT been approved.
